George Eifler, DDS, MS – Prosthodontist
Dr. George Eifler was raised and grew up in a suburb of Oklahoma City named Yukon, Oklahoma. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1987. After receiving his degree, he completed an intense general practice residency in Denver, Colorado at the county hospital. Upon finishing his residency, Dr. Eifler then joined the United States Navy and served with the United States Marine Corp in southern California. As a commissioned dental officer, he was deployed early into Operation Desert Storm in Saudi Arabia. During this time, he treated many severely injured soldiers and enemy combatants with complicated dental and facial needs. He was highly decorated and received many awards for his service with the US Navy. Following his love of learning and teaching, Dr. Eifler returned to postgraduate school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio Texas. At the University of Texas, Dr. Eifler served as an instructor at the dental school and completed an advanced degree in prosthodontics while also earning a Master’s of Science degree.
Dr. Eifler is very passionate about dentistry and realizes it can dramatically change your life and how you interact with others. He is very sensitive to your needs, fears, concerns, and limitations that we all face with regard to our dental health. Helping our clients overcome their smile and esthetic concerns is a gift we don’t take lightly. Whether replacing a single crown, removing a painful situation, securing a loose partial or denture and helping you improve your smile design, we look forward to working and serving our client’s needs.
Dr. Eifler also enjoys supporting several local dentists and physicians who are faced with patients and their complicated dental/medical situations. Daily, we are faced with complex medical histories and debilitating diseases like diabetes, bleeding disorders, eating and digestive disorders, and organ transplants which all serve to complicate dental procedures. Whether collaborating with our colleagues or educating our clients we realize communication is the key to success.
As a long-term member of the American College of Prosthodontics, a member of the Arizona section of the American College of Prosthodontics and local study clubs, Dr. Eifler is actively involved in the dental community. Over the years Dr. Eifler routinely donates his time and money to many charitable organizations like the Red Cross, St. Vincent’s De Paul Society, The Salvation Army and St. Thomas the Apostle. For the last ten years, he volunteers his time as an active member of the advisory board for the State of Arizona Victim’s Compensation Fund.
Dr. Eifler has been married to his wife, Lisa, for 20 years and has three teenage boys who keep him very busy. In his downtime, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, taking cooking classes, and manicuring his yard. He finds yard work and being outside with nature, very rewarding.
